2016-2017 District Grants:
The District 7530 District Grants Training Seminar will be held on April 29, 2016, at 3:15pm, during the District Conference at the Bridgeport Conference Center. This training is mandatory for any Club hoping to receive a District Grant during the 2016-2017 Rotary year. At least one Club member must attend this training for a Club to become qualified to receive a District Grant in 2016-2017.
Additional information, documents, and the granting schedule will be posted as they become available.
2015-2016 District Grants:
The District 7530 2015-2016 Grants Training Seminar was held on October 17, 2015, at Lakeview Resort, Morgantown, WV, with representatives from sixteen Clubs in attendance. These sixteen Clubs are now eligible to continue on the Grants process which will ultimately culminate in the awarding of District Grants in early 2016.
The next steps in the process are to review the 2015-2016 District 7530 Terms and Conditions, submit a 2015-2016 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the Club’s current President and President-Elect to District Foundation Chair Dave Cavender, and then submit a 2015-2016 District Grant application to District Grants Chair Raymie Mason by November 30, 2015.
The District Grants Committee will meet during December 2015 to review the Grant applications. Clubs selected to receive Grants will be notified as early as possible, and the Grant funding will be awarded as soon as possible.
A Grant Final Report will be due to District Grants Chair Mason within 30 days of the completion of the Grant activity.
Remember that each Club receiving a District Grant agrees that it or its members (or any combination thereof) must agree to donate at least 50% of the value of the District Grant to The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund – SHARE by June 1, 2016.
